ECO series

ECO series

The ECO series blastpots are so-called "pressure hold" systems. After the machine is filled with abrasive the vessel is pressurized first. From this stand-by mode, the abrasive is almost immediately on speed when blasting is started. No time is wasted to pressurize the vessel first, so the abrasive is picked up immediately by the transport air.
It makes the machine highly responsive to the start and stop signal, it saves on compressed air and avoids excessive wear of e.g. the decompression valve.

  • Use
    • Very fast response time (start/stop) enables highly accurate blasting.
    • No shot of abrasive when starting up.
    • Wet/vapour blasting is possible to reduce dust.
    • Possibility of blowing off objects with air (and water) only.
    • Easy setup of blasting pressure and amount of abrasive.

  • Performance
    • Fast response time leads to more blasted surface per day.
    • Precise metering valve. Better setting leads to less abrasive consumption and less dust!
    • Models available with contents of 18, 40, 60, 100, 160, 200 and 300 liter.
    • Extensive option list to fulfil any blasting needs.
    • Independently controlled multiple abrasive outlets are possible.
    • Large pipework avoids pressure drop over the machine.
    • Easy removal of parts for quick and easy maintenance.
    • Most efficient and cost-effective way of blasting.

  • Quality
    • Wear resistant metering valve for all abrasives. No problems with steel grits or fine aluminum oxide etc.
    • Separate main air valve. Hardly no wear and maintenance needed.
    • Separate decompression valve with wear disc. Very wear resistant and no risk of abrasive in the “air-side” of the machine.
    • Painted galvanized and non-ferrous fittings for a perfect corrosion protection.
    • Complies with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC (PED). Safety assured!

  • Environment
    • Only decompressing for refilling saves compressed air. So there is less fuel needed for the compressor and therefore less CO2 emissions.
    • The precise abrasive metering results in less abrasive consumption and less dust. This reduces the waste stream and the pollution of the surroundings.
    • Large pipework avoids pressure drop over the machine so less energy is needed to reach the wanted blasting pressure.

  • Saving
    • Fast response time avoids waste of abrasive when starting or stopping. Direct cost savings on abrasive purchase and disposal.
    • The "pressure hold" system also saves on compressed air = energy costs.
